ServiceNow held its Now at Work 2020 virtual event where it presented its customers’ success stories and the new release of the Now Platform, codenamed Paris

During Now At Work 2020, plenty of space was given to the stories of customers who have successfully adopted the platform. There were also sessions on how to optimise business processes through technology, seizing the opportunities offered by digital transformation. Particular attention was given to the workplace transformation that affected many companies during the health emergency, and during the various panels there was ample space given to how business should be transformed to take up the challenges imposed by the covid-19 generated crisis.

Moreover, much attention was paid to the convergence of Project Management and Customer Service, an issue on which Digix is always at the forefront, with a further focus on the key aspects of Data Monetisation through analysis systems based on machine learning.

ServiceNow goes on and names its platform versions after major cities. While the previous versions were called New York and Orlando, the current one takes us back to the Old World and is called Paris; it introduces 6 new products: Business Continuity Management, to ensure resilience and support businesses to manage crises; Financial Services Operations, which helps financial organisations to better connect teams and the back office; Hardware Asset Management, to automate the management of the company’s physical assets; Legal Service Delivery, which gives legal teams the visibility they need to make better decisions; Telecommunications Service Management, to manage communication services in a more flexible way, and finally Telecommunications Network Performance Management which gives IT teams total visibility over the resources installed on the network, simplifying their management.

In general, the new release aims to help companies react to the crisis triggered by Covid, supporting workers wherever they are and optimising workflows for this new era of agile working where physical presence in the office is no longer taken for granted.

We have to underline that Digix’s Restart solution offers a complete integration process with ServiceNow ensuring the various security levels without undermining productivity and competitiveness.
